OpenShot consistently creates backup versions of your project, storing them in a dedicated folder within your $HOME directory. You can retrieve most or all of your project content by accessing these backup files if needed. For Windows users, locate the recovery folder at C:\Users\(YOUR_USER_NAME)\.openshot_qt\recovery\. Navigate to this folder using File Explorer. Please find the most recent OSP file that shares the name of your project and double-click it. Upon the project's opening, utilize the "Save Project As..." feature in OpenShot to accurately name and duplicate your active project file.
